I got an email from a friend telling me that there was a massive sale on at Spotlight. This of course led to my arranging to go to aforementioned sale.
There was a lot of fabric and quite a lot of it was hideous. They had also done that cunning thing where only some fabrics were on sale and those on sale were placed tantalisingly close to those at exorbitant prices. I dealt with this by having iron resolve and refusing to buy any fabric that was not on sale. So I walked several times around the two large tables of sale fabrics and made a number of passes of the just cut tables so as to maximise the finding of awesomeness.
So here is my haul... spotty satin fabric in purple and blue, teal silk, brown suiting, two lots of cotton shirting, checkered canvas, some lining, the cray grey and yellow print jersey, lilac with hippopotamuses (i?), and of course a lot of blue spotted tulle.
I paid $16.55 for around 34m of fabric!
